remembering the winter of 2000

Still snowbound. Carlton walked up to the highway and caught a ride to Maryland with a friend. I went for a walk. Neighbors have made several trips up and down the street. Only one got stuck.

Spent most of the day doing administrative stuff. Mostly trying to get all the stuff that I have on the "auto payment" plan. You know - where you have your electric bill automatically taken out of your checking account. Well, I have 6 or 7 of those things. My bank got sold. "NOT TO WORRY - we'll change everything for you" ... Well, the bank might have tried to change things - but all my companies want ME to do the changing. BAH HUMBUG.

Tomorrow - Tomorrow I go find out what the CT-Scan saw. I remember that the CT-Scan person said "The good news is you can go home now..." Does that mean they saw "bad news" on their test shots? Or was it just a cliche?
