Men have trophy wives. Women have trophy kitchens. Or so it seems.

Went looking for a new stove today. To replace the one in the picture above. It's oven is hopelessly burnt out. And the burners only have two temperatures left - hot and not hot.

Found this fine looking model on the left. $4999 Hey, it was on sale. A floor model. What, pray tell, does a $4999 stove do? I bet I'd still have to do the cooking.

Carlton's friend, the dishwasher, is also on its last legs. It really is held together with a piece of bell wire.
