flag day 1950's style

Went and got TrueCore boxes and archival sleeves and retrieved Carlton's family photographs from the 100 plus degree attic and the box with moth balls. (Carlton was never a museum tech for the Park Service!)

I am happily taking the photos out of their nasty acid ridden frames. And generally chuckling.

My brother, James, once wrote:

Carlton on the other hand seemed to have been descended from one of the supporting players in “Gone With the Wind” – someone who gets killed off early on and whose legacy continues in a small but proud corner of Southern aristocracy.

As you can see photo from one of Carlton's college football games - I don't think James was too far off the mark. But Carlton has made great strides.

Speaking of great strides. Carlton took our "Thinking about selling the house" game to the next level and called a couple of realtors. This is getting serious.
