Our football team won yesterday. That makes the whole area feel good. I am sure that the terrorists must wonder about football. And the attention we pay it. Or maybe they think it is just a game.

Still feeling bad. Not bad enough to go to the emergency room. This has been going on since Thursday. I am bored with being an invalid already. If I take myself to my "family practice doctor" he'll just insist I get a flu shot, want to do cholesterol tests, and give me a list of three other doctors and tell me to make an appointment with one of them. He isn't really a doctor - he is more like a yenta. And not a very good one at that. I don't want to go there. At least not yet. Where the hell is Marcus Whelby?

We didn't elect him and we don't have to keep him.
