Shrine of the Immaculate Conception - 09.nov.04

Went to the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception today. I can see it from my bedroom window. So, I figured I might as well get a closeup look. The place even smells Catholic. And here we have a dead white guy. The Catholic church always puts great stock in dead white guys. Heathens are always SO impressed with dead white guys!

Let us meet another Republican Senator. Newly re-elected Jim Bunning (R KY). Some suspect that Sen Bunning's elevator doesn't make it to the top floor anymore. In late October, he admitted he wasn't aware that a group of Army reservists had refused a convoy mission in Iraq, saying he watches only Fox News for information and hasn't read a newspaper in six weeks. But, maybe no one in Kentucky reads either!
