The INS Building - view from my balcony - 13.nov.04

Yesterday evening I was enjoying poor health and decided to have a nice hot bath and call it quits. I retreat to the bathroom. While soaking, I hear lots of barking dogs and banging on doors. I figure that Casey the designer dog who lives next door was just having a bad hair day. Sooner or later, I emerge from the bath to discover that the INS Building had a bomb scare and the police wanted us to all evacuate. Well, it was 36 degrees and pouring rain. And I was clad only in my granny gown and fuzzy robe. I wasn't about to go anywhere. Fortunately, at about that time the police left and everything returned to normal. I'll do my evacuating on nice sunny warm days!

As you can see the INS Building appears to be intact.
