The Homestead - there's grits under those domes.

Spent the day wasting time online. I looked up Carlton's grandfather. Now, one of my grandfather's was a sharecropper. And the other was a honkytonk piano player (on his good days). Carlton's grandfather was a big time southern political hack in from the early 1930's thru the mid 1950's. There are some 10,000 items in the E. R. Combs achieves at the University of Virginia. The items are in Hollinger boxes - not online.
