My Computer Room

Finally got my computer mostly back in operation. This was a self inflected injury. I was the one who decided to wipe the hard drive and start all over again.

There have been lots of things that have annoyed me over the last few days. But, now that I can rant about them - I have forgotten what they were.

Oh, one Windows XP problem that annoyed me. The Windows fax software declared that it was the Telephone Czar. Every time the phone rang - the fax machine would answer. I couldn't stop it. It kept killing the process and it kept coming back and capturing the telephone. It wouldn't even let the modem dial out. Fortunately, I don't use the Windows fax software - so I was able to uninstall and get my phone back.
