the washer - 07.may.05

Carlton insists that the water supply to the washer be turned off when not in use. A good idea, I agree. But, to me it isn't a REALLY BIG DEAL. (Indeed - I think it is more important for the people upstairs to practice Safe Washing.) So, Carlton goes around and checks to see if I turn off the water supply. (He also turns off lights after me and suspiciously sniffs food that I place in front of him.)

Well, since we moved into the apartment he has been frustrated - because he can not remember which way is on and which way is off with the washing machine hookups. Today - I labeled on and off ... so now he is happy. He can check me. And I'll hit his little bald head if he says "Uh, you forget to turn off the water."
