Carlton was suddenly taken insane last night because he lost a tube of ChapStick. He was still crazy this morning. Now, after 24 hours, he appears to be returning to normal. Sometimes I wonder how the man will react when something that really matters, something that is really bad happens to him.

I like to think that I worry about his insane fussing over things that don't matter is because I care about him. Other times I think that maybe I am jealous that he seems to care more about a tube of Chapstick than ME. Maybe it is just his way of dealing with those things that can not be dealt with. Things like life and death.

Oh, today the Supreme Court decided that the Federal anti-drug laws trumped state medical marijuana laws on some inter-state commerce clause. Neither here nor there. What was funny was some anti-drug modern day Carrie Nation type woman was on TV saying how great this was. She insisted that there is no medical benefit to marijuana "Just because it makes sick people feel better doesn't mean it helps them". Well, if that wasn't the best reason for smoking a little weed ...
