No one knows how many were killed by Hurricane Katrina's floods and how many more succumbed waiting to be rescued. Bodies are everywhere: hidden in attics, floating among the ruined city, crumpled on wheelchairs, abandoned on highways.

And, it looks like the Bush administration is grearing up to shift the blame to the state and local government - which just happen to be Democratic. Wonder if they'll try to blame Haley Barbour?
