Carlton is taking the so called war in Iraq badly. I think he used to question the validity of some of the government's social programs. Welfare, you know. But, I don't think he ever questioned anything like war before. My country right or wrong. I know he never took marched, protested, carrier a banner, signed a partition or anything like that.

Now, at his advanced age, he finds himself opposed to a war. He has become one of "us" and is uncomfortable. Maybe "we" were right about Vietnam too. If Carlton can change - maybe there is hope.

Carlton and I are in complete agreement about one thing - OLD AGE SUCKS. Don't buy into that "Golden Years" BS.
