Getting the tech toys ready for the move to winter quarters.
Moved the Blog back to the tiny little Fujitsu. Backed up the data files. Moved the email to the Fujitsu too.
Got a bunch of "trip" books. Figure that Carlton and I can each go thru 2 books during the 22 hour "adventure".
And am starting with the "trip food". Regular readers know that Carlton the Cheap doesn't eat at places where one has to pay. Planes don't feed you any more. Not even planes going to Hawaii. (My plane will sell me a handful of trail mix. I'm too cheap for that.) By my calculations - it will be about 36 real hours before I have any chance of getting any food that I haven't packed. So, I'll pack 4 sandwiches, several bottles of water, some granola bars, a couple chocolate bars and some cheese crackers. You know, those chemical things that we programmer types lived on for days on end in the 60's and 70's.
Anyone know any fun things to do in the Seattle airport of 3 hours? Suggestions welcomed.
