catch of the day -moorish idols - 13dec05

Another day snorkeling. And of trying to sneak up on hapless fish with my camera. Problem with my camera is that I can not see what I am taking pictures of whilst underwater. I can not see the LCD and the optical view finder is completely useless between the housing and mask. But, I am getting better at just sticking the camera in the general area of the fish and getting something. Of course, I have lots of pictures of ocean bottom. Pictures of where the fish WAS.

Nice fancy cruise ship arrived this morning. When there is a cruise ship - WalMart sends a bus down to the dock. Being lazy - I hop on the bus to ride to WalMart. Not today - the WalMart bus was mobbed by the cruisers. They had been at sea for 5 days and HAD TO GO TO WALMART. K-Mart also sends a bus. The K-Mart guy was begging for passengers. Note to investors: K-Mart doesn't seem like a good idea. I didn't get to WalMart.

Today's Menu: Carlton ate lunch on the job at Hulihe'e Palace today.

Dinner: Chopped up a potato and added some carrots. Nuked for 8 minutes. Come dinner time I'll add some turkey sausages and nuke until the sausage is ready to eat. Then I'll add some pineapple salsa to the carrot and potato mix. Slice up some avocado. And a papaya. The should work for dinner OK.
