Our friends the day octopus and manybar goatfish - 25dec05

The catch of yesterday - octopus and goatfish. Great day of snorkeling yesterday. For me. Carlton had a bad day. He lost his snorkel gear and got stung by a jelly fish. No snorkeling for me today. Too many jelly fish. They should be gone by tomorrow.

Yesterday's paper had a double page ad for fire crackers and fire works. Also a double page ad for various Japanese essential foods for the New Year's meal. I haven't a clue what half the things are or what you might do with them. Longs (our drug store chain) had a coupon for a can of "Boiled Eels" $3.99.

The Menu: Lunch spam musubi, tangerines and avocado. Dinner will be sandwiches and bean salad.
