These guys just swam right in front of my camera. They don't show up very often and I have been trying to get a nice picture of them for years.
No internet joy today. Free WIFI wasn't working. And tonight by dial up doesn't even connect. Stuck with real life.
Cruise ship came in today on it's way to French Polynesia. Too bad I couldn't figure out how to stow away. It had come from San Diego and early this morning two ambulances showed up. Each ambulance took away a patient and a traveling companion and a bunch of luggage. Now, it seems to me - I could have tossed some beach wear in bag and would have been happy to take one of the now vacant cabins. Most of the folk on the ship seemed to be fairly old and frail. I felt like going up to them and yelling "Why didn't you do this 10 years ago - when you were only 75 - why did you wait until you were 85 to sail to BoraBora?"
As I prepare to collect my first SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENT (that is f-ing old boys and girls) - my motto is going to be "If not now - when?"
The Menu: Lunch - Spam, rice, bananas and avocado. Dinner - Think I'll nuke up the leftover rice, and little chili. Chop up some avocado, add some sour cream and salsa. Put the avocado mixture on top of the chili which will be on top of the rice. And a couple of slices of pineapple on the side. Today's menu seems to be a little light on nutrition.
