Too chilly and windy for spring quest.

We have been home for over two weeks. When we arrived PBS was having "Pledge Week". PBS is still having "Pledge Week". Maybe it is "Pledge Month". Here is my idea for PBS "Pledge Week". Let them decide how much money they want to extort from the viewers. Then - show the regular programs - but show a phone number to call and contribute and tell us that if we don't call and donate then they will show "The Barry Mannilow Xmas Special" or "The River Dancers Do Dallas". And please spare us from the "Aging Folkers Sing Along". And also deliver us from "Really Old Smokie Robertson Falsetto Festival".

We don't have cable it is either PBS pledge week shows, American Idol, or March Madness. (No, Carlton can not just turn the tube off).

The Wall Street Journel had an article about how Ralph Lauren alligator bags now cost $14,000. That would be up from $12,000. Just between us - I'll pick up a funky $2 bag at the thrift shop and keep the change ($13,997.92 ).
