I know there is spring somewhere. But, it sure isn't here yet. Our Cherry Blossoms are supposed to be out. If it gets over 50 degrees, I'll go see them.
Been reading that people do not cook any more. Can not cook any more. Are afraid to cook. Last week, whilst hibernating, I was watching Oprah. There was a woman - with kids, husband, house in the 'burbs. A stay at home mom. She didn't cook. Her family went to MickyD's for breakfast. They spent $100 a day eating out. She didn't even have dishes.
There is a place in Seattle, Designed Dinners, where one goes and "assembles" 12 entrees. For $199. One then takes the entrees home, freezes them, and later heats and eats.
What is so hard about cooking? For lunch... I cooked up some rice with saffron. Sauteed some onions, carrots, chicken and sausage. Added some black beans. Finished it all off with a big fat diced tomato, fresh cilantro, and pinon nuts. Took less than 1/2 hour.
Learn to cook people! (And, then there is Carlton. It is too late for him.)
