I am so not happy with dial up. Also not to happy with my software packages. They seem to insist on downloading "upgrades" - which sucks up the limited bandwidth.
Have been having really interesting weather. Sunday was the best day I have ever seen a Kona - air pollution-wise. The wind came in from the south and blew all the volcano stuff away. It makes one realize how crappy the air usually is.
Then on Monday it got really windy - but still from the south and the waves came up. Monday, Tuesday, and today cruise ships showed up in the morning - looked at the surf and hauled up the anchor and left. I am sure the local merchants saw dollar signs floating away.
I guess this isn't the correct Democratic Party view - but - I have decided that I am opposed to any "non binding" resolution about Iraq. Which doesn't mean that I approve of the troop surge. The Bush-ites seem to think that General Petrais is some sort of modern day General Grant. The US military in Iraq ain' t the Union Army after Antietam. There are lots of things the congress can do. Cut off funding. Revisit the "war" enabling legislation. But, "non binding" resolutions don't get the job done.
