"new" clothes fest
On Tuesday morning Carlton took the garbage down to the trash room and returned with 3 perfectly fine big bags full of nice clean women's clothes. I dumped them all on the bed and went "shopping". I adopted 2 pair of pants, several belts, and about a dozen or so shirts. The rest I folded back up and delivered them to the Salvation Army this morning. Better than letting them go to the landfill. And, what is not to like about silky black shirts from Banana Republic.
Major technology break thru this afternoon. I got the XP machine and the Vista machine to talk to each other. Had to down load one plug in and one program from Microsoft. That was to get Microsoft to agree that I had a legit copy of XP. Then I was allowed to download a patch to XP which made it possible for the machines to make nice... Was even able to share out the printer. Hasn't improved my feeling about Vista. Or Microsoft.
