All finished packing. All finished cleaning up. The wash is washing. The packing is packed. And four cheese sandwiches are made. Four cheese sandwiches, two oranges and two muffins will have to feed us until I get myself to the grocery in Kona. Carlton would rather eat cheese sandwiches than go a resturant. I really don't mind humoring him. And I absolutely refuse to purchase AIRPLANE food. So, cheese sandwiches it is. I kinda like cheese sandwichs.
We leave at 6AM tomorrow. No, wrong... we leave the apartment at 6:30. The plane leaves at 8. Then on Sunday, we leave Seattle at 6AM. Then, we try the iffy connection in San Francisco. And on into Kona. Hope it works.
And, when we get to Kona - I'll try to do a picture every day. But, I no longer have a dial up connection. Needless to say, I'll try to snag some free wifi every other day. If our hotel has pay wifi - I'll pay. But, the KonaSeaSide Hotel isn't a wifi sort of a place.
OOPS - ALERT: Peggy just screwed up BIG TIME. I was checking in for our flight tomorrow online. Well, one of the yes/no questions was "Do you have ANY cutting implements in your carry on". Well, silly Peggy - criminally honest Peggy - I check yes. Well, after all I have a little nail clippers and a tiny (legal size) pair of scissors. Definitely, "cutting implements". Now we have to present ourselves in person before they will even consider letting us on the plane. Bet we'll be pulled out of line for special inspections also. For all I know the TSA has put me on the No Fly list. DRAT DRAT DRAT. Oh yes, Carlton is in "I'm not mad" mode. Yeah sure, he's not mad, DRAT DRAT DRAT.
