Spending the day on the train. First train: Bordeaux to Paris. Second train: Paris to Amsterdam - but I think I am going to get off at the airport. Figure that is where Pam will be tomorrow morning. And, that there will be plenty of hotel options, even at 7:30 in the evening.
On train to Paris now. First class. But the plane is full. I didn't get a window and I am in one of the backwards seats. Think I'll read this trip. I am NOT looking forward to Paris. Changing trains and stations. Oh well, if I miss my train - I am only out 13 euros.
But, I didn't miss my train. Made it with 5 entire minutes to spare. I am now in my Etap Hotel (same as last nite but 20 euros more). Stopped at the airport grocery store for a little supper before catching the shuttle bus to my digs for the night.
