Thank you, Saint Synchronous. The DSL modem/router has been converted to a bridge and the new big ass dual N router slipped in to the network. The oldest computer would not connect to the new router. But, I had an old pcmcia wireless card - popped it in and we are able to connect now - faster too.
The only downside is the Spitzer Machine has blue screened - well actually black screened - twice today. Blue screens is usually software - black screens are frequently hardware. BUT, this is the Spitzer. Maybe, I should call it the Edwards. "Well, my wife's cancer *was* in remission when my little lapse occurred".
Thank you, Saint Christopher. I just happened to check airfares to Kona last evening. Scored tickets from here to Kona for $415 each. All up. Unless Alaska adds some extra "fees" by then. Then being Nov 29.
That gets us to Kona. Got no way back yet.
