Best Xmas Tree - Island style
Box jellys arrived yesterday. I am not sure they are gone - so I have been land and pool based for the last two days.
The umbrella drink as economic indicator. When we left Kona last spring umbrella drinks at the bar next door were $7.95. This winter same bar same owner - umbrella drinks are $4.95.
Back home it was hard to see any real signs of the recession, except in the news and in my brokerage account - but here you can see the recession/depression in action every time we leave the hotel room. But, this is Hawaii. Hawaii is used to economic ugliness. The weater is warm and there are fish to catch.
