Found this box jelly looking pretty flat on the dock this morning. Much to Carlton's dismay, I returned it to the ocean.
These are box jellies. Only mildly dangerous. Not at all like the Australian ones, which will kill you. Sort of like the difference between honey bees and killer Africanized bees.
