when you get lemons - make lemonade
Cold, windy, rainy weather continues. My tan is fading and I haven't even gone to the airport yet. Gotta feel sorry for folks who came to Hawaii for 10 days and picked the last 10.
Leaving tomorrow. Everything is ready to go except the packing. I had planned to spend the day basking in the sun. Not going to happen, So, I think I'll watch on of the movies that I have stashed on the iPod.
I love that iPod Touch. Music, movies, email, games, grocery lists, a little internet, audio books, readable books. Thank you Mr Jobs.
We haven't pondered ny investments lately. I haven't been doing the ostrich thing. Been working on accepting the new order. It isn't going to get back to the way it was in my lifetime. And, I plan on being around for a little longer. And, when it is over... The US isn't likely to be the biggest dog on the porch. That is the acceptance phase.
So, what have I been doing. Shorted the DOW back in december. Covered too soon, but made some nice change. Made some money trading medical equipment stocks. And, lucked into a quick profit on Philip Morris. Buying gold on dips. Playing defense.
