Sunday

0650am. A pretty nothing start to the day. The winds picked up and blew the rain away by early afternoon.

It wasn’t cold. So, I made a few laps around the outside of the building. Watered the orchids, read a trashy book, did some origami, played with the light. Just a normal Sunday.

5;26PM The late afternoon sun reflecting off the most useless building in DC – The Capital.
Some of the residents will be heading out to the protest tomorrow.

I will not be among the protestors. Honestly, I am too old. I have been to protests and marches, and even peaceful parades require more stamina than I can realistically count on having on any given day. There is no reason to suspect this will be an incident-free assembly. But, I hope it is.
