Decided to checkout the 1% this morning. The 1% being Paul Allen. We think he is at his beach house. The beach house he uses for 2 weeks a year. He usually has one of his big ass yachts brought over and flies in on one of his planes. He used to have a 747. Don’t know what his “best” plane is these days. And, we haven’t seen his yachts this year. Just a Zodiac.
The beach house is on 10 acres. It is a gated estate inside a gated community. But, this is Hawaii. You can get pretty close one foot – after about a 2 mile walk. (Or you can swim by his private harbor.)
Today – I did the walk thing. As soon as I go in front of Mr Allen’s property, a very large security dude showed up. He spent much time talking on his radio about the “subject”. I was too chicken to take pictures. But, I sat down on the beach. The poor security dude had to stand about 10 feet away from me. Observing the “subject”.
I walked back out along the beach in front of the gated community. The gated community security guy came looking for me. He wanted to know if I was the “subject” who had upset Mr. Allen’s guards. Yep, that would be me. Dangerous old haole woman, exercising my Hawaiian right to beach access.
