I should have taken a picture of me and the hat and Sam Au Hoy. Nobody or no hat is promised tomorrow. If we are all in Kona next winter – the photo will be taken. And, by then the hat will have a proper hatband.
Note to heirs: this hat will out live me – if it doesn’t get sat on. Past it on to someone with a big head.
Now, how am I going to transport this thing. Will I have to take it on the plane like a “lap baby”? It is too big for a flat rate box. Suggestions welcomed.
