But, on the positive side – and I am working damned hard being positive these days – on the positive side: I did not fry my eyeballs. Nor did I catch anything on fire. Heck, I didn’t even singe anything. And, I might have seen sunspots using a piece of paper and my spotting scope. Or it might have been dust on the lens. And I got that really cool purple lens flare.
The 2012 annular solar eclipse will miss us. So, I guess I need not stockup on welder’s glass.
