Today I scanned photos from Hot Springs National Park. And I went to the volunteer job. Best thing about working on a regular basis is not working. As in, after going to work 5 days in a row – I welcome the weekend like a regular working stiff. All that is missing a the paycheck! But, there are advantages. I can say that some things are definitely outside my pay grade. And I can and do stretch the limits of the “dress code”. Hey what can they do, take my birthday away?

Dave – Hot Springs NP has a huge collection of early 1900′s “medical” devices. There was much interest in all things radioactive and/or electrical. The picture is of a person sized light box. One stood in the box (with eye protection) in the nude, the box was closed, the lights were turned on – and – you would be cured of all manner of skin problems.
