And why is this old newspaper help wanted ad today's
picture? It is all Carlton's fault. Today he asked "Where is
that piece of paper I gave you 12 months ago to save for tax time?"
I look everywhere for it. Find some old stuff that I had saved for
no apparent reason. But, not what he wanted.
Finally, I tell him "Sorry your worshipfulness,
but, this lowly scribe has forever lost the paper". He found
it. In his room.
But, one of the things I found was this old ad...
from the collection of stuff that it was with, it must have been
from the winter of 1996 or 1997. When the Internet was new and when
Japanese tourists still flocked to Hawai`i.
And, I found out that my scanner still works.
