Our Gecko - Kona SeaSide Hotel
Guess what I was just doing? Yep, looking at airline
schedules and fares. Haven't been home long enough to get over jet
lag and I am looking to get underway again.
Last evening Carlton and I had are rather interesting
discussion about "assisted suicide". We decided that if
a state had a good "assisted suicide" law that seemed
to be holding up to legal challenges - then we would move to that
state. Oregon has such a law and Hawai`i may pass one soon. Now,
don't go reading anything into this - it is just that neither of
us is in the least bit interested in "putting up a good fight"
with the grim reaper. When the door opens to the other side - we
are ready.
A friend signed an email "never get involved
in a land war in asia". I always wondered why we didn't ask
the French about Vietnam in the early '60s. Now, I hope that we
have asked our new best friends the Russians about Afghanistan!
