OOPS! It is Friday the 13th. But it is really Saturday.
My Saturday and that is the one that matters!
Worked on Devils Tower stuff a bunch today. But, I was
sort of brain dead from about 10 am until 4 ish. So, as
usual, I didn't make as much progress as I had hoped.
Took some pictures today - whilst brain dead.
First: A Real Alaskan Vehicle. Note the kayaks, the bike,
the beer cooler - also notice that the fenders appear to
be attached with duct tape. It is duct tape. Know in these
parts as "Alaskan Welding"
A trip to the rear of the truck reveals the
required large dog.
And the water heater at Olivia's Restaurant
- just around the corner from us - got a little over heated.
SkagWay doesn't take many things seriously. But, since the
town is entirely constructed of wood - including the sidewalks
- fire is taken seriously.
