Carlton strained his back today while playing tennis.
I hope he gets better soon. A disabled Carlton is not a pretty site.
Thinking about 9-11. I realize that I think about
9-11 different than everyone on the east coast. Everybody in our
neighborhood have real memories - they felt the impact of the plane
hitting the Pentagon. And for sure they watched it on TV.
But, my most vivid memories are of logging on the
the Washington Post web site as I did every morning in Alaska and
seeing the traffic camera showing the Pentagon on fire. And I remember
a set of photos from all over the country that a friend emailed
(I must find that and save it). And I remember, watching the British
memorial service via the internet and the BBC. We didn't get a newspaper
until Sept 15.
