Carlton wants everyone to see him working!

It is finally summer time. The alarmist TV news people are warning us to "take it easy". "Stay indoors". "Wear light clothing". Like we forgot over winter what to do when summer comes.

Maybe the Democrats could consider running against Bush rather than trying to paint themselves as a slightly kinder, more intelligent Bush. How about someone take a bold position? Maybe "Energy Independence?" And not by drilling for more oil in Alaska or the Gulf. But, bring back "conservation". Remember "alternative energy sources". Seems to me that most of our troubles come from our dependence on Arab oil.
