Last day in Haarlem

Still working on my trip pictures - down to 1026 today.

Isn't it a little strange that we let 18 year old kids join the Army, then we give them a firearm, then we send them to Iraq, then they come home in a box. But, we don't let them buy a beer until they are 21.

Doris and I had an interesting talk with a really cute young man on a train one night. He was 18 years old and going to visit his girl friend on the train. Why was he on the train? Because he was too young to drive. He told us that at 16 he could buy beer and at 18 he could buy weed and at 20 he could drive - if he could afford to buy petrol.
