xmas parade belly dancers - 10dec2005

Christmas, XMAS, Solstice, Holiday - no problem here in Hawaii. No dumb ass protests against this or that merchant for not keeping CHRIST in Xmas. Nobody cares what Bushboy's Winter Card to his Million Best Friends says. In Hawaii, Xmas begins with Thanksgiving and lasts until Dec 25. Think Marti Gras. On Dec 26 - folk start getting ready for the serious winter holiday - that would be New Years Day. Stores will be open on Dec 25, but nothing will be open on Jan 1.

Today's Menu: Back to the nuker. Nuked carrots 5 minutes. Drained off the water and topped the carrots with a sliced apple sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. And put a couple of turkey sausage on top. Squeezed a little mustard on top of the sausages. And a little juice from those tangerines. Nuked five minutes more. Served with steamed rice.

Dinner will be some avocado and tomato salad. Had that last night ... Lettuce, lots of avocado (they are free), a little tomato (they are not free), ranch dressing, some pineapple salsa and bacon.
