Yesterday afternoon it rained. Poured actually. We roused ourselves and looked out the door at about 5:30PM. And what did we see. A HUGE yacht. The Octopus. According to the internet - the Octopus is the seconds largest yacht. in the world - except for a few that belong to kings, queens, and other heads of state. It has a full time crew of 60. Sports 2 helicopter landing pads. But we only saw one 'copter. Which came and went several times. I guess the other helipad is for guests. And it also has a 8 person submarine that can stay submerged for 10 days tucked away some where on board. We didn't see it. Also an "ice breaker" hull - not needed here!

It belongs to Paul Allen. Guess he is in the area for the Pro Bowl. The yacht. is longer than a football field.

I caught a serious case of envy. The heck with lusting after a NetJet membership. I want the Octopus. Oh yes - and a really generous allowance so I can support the crew of 60. It is estimated that 20 million per year should keep it running.
