day at the races
Has it really been a week since I updated the blog? I guess so. Well, I have no excuses. About the only thing I have been doing is spending way too much time planning what I am going to do in Europe and where I am going to stay. Current plan is to have no plan at all. Maybe have a train pass. And a generous credit limit on my plastic!
Two weeks from today - at about this time 11PM Eastern - we should be home. If the airline goddess is willing of course.
About this shooting down of our ailing spy satellite. Didn't we give the Chinese as serious ration of grief when they shot down one of their spy satellites a couple of years ago? Would we be shooting it down if it wasn't a spy machine? What happens if we miss? Would it mean we can end all the Starwars business? And if we miss - what about all those Sci Fi flicks - the ones where we save the world from an errant asteroid?
