who knew carlton had relatives in the south of france?
Today is lost ... lost because there are no rooms left in town. And lost because for some reason all the trains out of town require reservations. And, all the reservations that I want are gone and I am stuck. Stuck with a reservation to Bordeaux at 2:30 that arrives in Bordeaux at 7:30 PM. That is too late for my comfort level. And, the train station doesn't have any baggage checking facilities. So I am also stuck LUGging my LUGgage around. Maybe I should consider this a sign to get wheels.
Sometimes, whatever happens is not what you would have planned - if you planned.
So "What would a french woman do?" Go buy underwear or retreat to a cafe. The shopping is out - the LUGgage. I have a serious case of wheel envy. But first ... a tram ride. It is very festive - don't you think?

On the train to Bordeaux now. Still not happy about`getting into town with no room ideas after 1930 - being the time in Europe. Not a year. But the train is lovely. With cream colored leather seats in first class.

Worry about what happens in Bordeaux when you get there, old lady.
