catch of the day - baby barracuda - 08dec2005
Took the camera snorkeling today for the first time. I had seen a baby barracuda several times and was happy when he swam into camera range. This camera's view finder and LCD are really difficult to impossible to see underwater. But, I seem to be getting better a sticking the camera out and actually capturing a fish. But, I also get lots of pictures of rocks.
Today's menu: Yellowfin Tuna and Carrots. Yellowfin tuna got the mustard rub treatment. Nuked the carrots for 5 minutes. Then added some of the substandard tangerines. And put the tuna on top. And added the juice of another tangerine. Nuked for 3 minutes. Turned the fish over and nuked for 2 more minutes. Served with rice and garnished with tangerine. (Yes, I have a whole bunch of mediocre tangerines.) Dinner will avocado and tomato. And Xmas cookies. Or are they HOLIDAY cookies?
