practice for Xmas concert - 08dec2005

Today is the first day since we got here that Carlton didn't work at the Palace. So, we went to the beach. Nice peaceful day in exciting downtown Kailua-Kona. No cruise ship in the bay, no tour groups in the hotel.

Just so you know what a classy hotel we stay in - last night 4 big burly cops evicted a really nasty old woman who was staying on the second floor just across from us. Since this is the last resort hotel - goodness knows where she went.

Today's menu: Chicken and Zucchini with pineapple salsa. Marinade chicken in a little pineapple salsa. Then nuke 5 minutes. Turn chicken over. Top with zucchini. Nuke another 4 minutes. Serve with leftover steamed rice and bean salad. Was planning on having chicken sandwiches for dinner. But we ate all the chicken. So, it will be tomato, cheese and avocado sandwiches.
